"Top Three"

Well, three months have gone by, since I uploaded “Top Ten”.  At that time, the post about New Orleans was the most popular.  We now have a new champion.  The gold medal goes to Porto Rafti, while New Orleans and Cook County Hospital take the silver and bronze medals respectively.  The “Porto Rafti” post was an attempt to show the beauty of the bay at the east shores of the Attica peninsula.

Porto Rafti is a popular destination for Athenians and celebrities alike such as George Harrison of the Beatles who vacationed there in 1979.

Amazingly, the post about “Cook County Hospital” is now more popular than “Mothers and their children” and “San Francisco”, that were second and third, three months ago.  Cook County as it was affectionately called is a legendary institution that trained more physicians in the U.S. than any other for almost 100 years.

Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right

Little darling
It's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling
It feels like years since it's been here

Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right

Little darling
The smiles returning to the faces
Little darling
It seems like years since it's been here

Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right

Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes

Little darling
I feel that ice is slowly melting
Little darling
It seems like years since it's been clear

Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
It's all right
It's all right

  1. The Beatles were my favorite and this song was one of my top favorites. The sun came out today, the snow has melted and the temps are nearing 50.....daffodils have popped through and just waiting to burst their beautiful orange/yellow flowers, the long cold winter is finally (I hope!) over....after all, it is May 1, planting season is delayed and forget about the cooler weather crops, it is going to jump from cold to hot!
